Problem

Cross-functional teams needed data work done but had to route every request through a data engineer who knew which system to touch.

Approach

• Orchestrator classifies intent and hands off to a specialist sub-agent; each sub-agent has a narrow tool surface and its own guardrails.
• Every action is logged with the sub-agent's reasoning so the run can be audited after the fact.

Impact

• Natural-language-driven data operations for non-engineers.
• Accelerated cross-functional data delivery; became the seed of the multi-agent data access RFC for the platform.
